About us
DeepMark makes AI-generated media and AI voice agents verifiable. We embed machine-readable identity directly into audio, images, video, and live synthetic speech, proof that travels with the content.

From research lab to digital trust leaders
DeepMark's journey started in a university lab in Montenegro, where two PhD researchers, Slavko Kovačević and Kosta Pavlović, spent years exploring the intricacies of signal processing and audio watermarking. At first it was pure curiosity that drove them: how can we hide information inside audio so seamlessly that humans can't perceive it, yet machines can verify it?
That work grew into some of the first deep-learning approaches to audio watermarking, cited as pioneering by researchers at Microsoft, Meta, Sony, and Adobe by 2023. This recognition sparked the leap from academia to entrepreneurship and DeepMark's official launch, supported by Montenegro's Innovation Fund and the Katapult Accelerator.
Trusted by leading names
Our audio-watermarking technology is commercially licensed and used in production, and we work with leading voice-AI and communications companies on production requirements.
We serve generative AI providers, contact centers, banks and insurers, healthcare organizations, telecom platforms, and production companies, teams that need to mark what they generate and verify what they ship.

Our mission
The rapid rise of generative media has profoundly disrupted trust in digital content. At DeepMark, we envision an internet where authenticity, accountability, and integrity are guaranteed by design. Our technology provides an imperceptible, secure, and machine-verifiable way to authenticate digital content, trust that holds in an increasingly synthetic world.
What we do
Protecting digital integrity
DeepMark embeds imperceptible, machine-readable identifiers into digital media. This makes AI-generated content detectable, supports regulatory transparency workflows, and lets platforms and enterprises verify the origin of audio, images, and video at scale.
Empowering trust & compliance
Our technology helps AI providers address emerging transparency regulations, including the EU AI Act's Article 50. Machine-readable marking and detection give clients evidence they can stand behind, and a practical layer against misuse and fraud.
Developer-friendly integration
We provide an SDK and REST API built for real-time integration and high-throughput deployment, in your cloud, VPC, or on-premises, so teams can embed marking and verification into existing workflows.
Research-driven innovation
Committed to transparency, DeepMark publishes peer-reviewed research, maintains an open benchmark and select open-source resources, and works with industry on shared standards for AI provenance and digital trust.
Our team
Our team spent six years on digital and neural watermarking, publishing peer-reviewed research and producing algorithms cited as pioneering by researchers at Microsoft, Meta, Sony, and Adobe.
Beyond our R&D depth, the team also brings strong product and fundraising experience, ensuring that DeepMark’s breakthrough science translates into real-world traction and revenue.
Where we're headed
Starting from audio authentication for generative AI, DeepMark is expanding across image and video provenance, voice-agent authentication, and telecom fraud prevention. Our goal is simple: In two years, if it isn’t DeepMarked, it won’t be trusted.
Mark what you generate. Prove what you ship.
Compliance you can demonstrate today, and a path to verified AI voice your customers actually trust, both built into the media you already produce.
